Christmas times Event

Last night, I went with friends to “Parque Central”

This is a new Park built by Mendoza's County and they organized a great Concert played by the "Mendoza Philharmonic Orchestra”. We was listening an amazing music.

They played Classic music: "Ruslán and Ludmila" (Glinka), Mussorgsky, Tchaicovsky, Brahms and Rossini.

It was enjoyable music that generated in the people a very good feeling. I love these kinds of events...
I'm not sure if I can put it here but I did a little video there and I would like to share with all of you. The music is really great!
I only can say that yesterday, the night was very pleasant. It was warm with a great moon in the sky. At the same time, when we were listening to the music, we could watch the orchestra playing and at the same time we could see nice and funny Egyptian ducks swimming on the lake because the scenery was beside the lake. It was a wonderful time!

I went with a few friends. We share the feeling that we have at the end of the year.
We are starting our summer vacation and in front of us we have a new year, a time to relax, to plan new possibilities.

Why not? The next year will come full of new opportunities to us…
We really enjoyed the evening and our relationship. After the concert we went at small familiar place and we ate pizza and cheered for our frelationship and for my birthday...
We passed a great time together...

Knowing JESI, Italy

Teacher Karl Lives in Jesi with his family.

Jesi is a town and comune of the province of Ancona in the Marche, Italy.

Now a quiet agricultural and commercial center in the floodplain on the left (north) bank of the Esino river 17 km before its mouth on the Adriatic, it was for several centuries the capital of a small independent city-state, and it retains a striking circuit of medieval walls, as well as a castle restored and extended by Baccio Pontelli in 1488

Arnold share with us Pictures from Malasia and Australia

I'm very happy because this evening I received nice pictures from Arnold.

Thanks for share with us because we can know you and at the same time we can envid a bit, because you had a great experience traveling to Australia.

In Malaysia

This photo is of my travel in Malaysia in 2004. It was taken in an Indian tourist spot in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

Arnold with migrant students

These refugee students are mainly from some African countries because of wars happening back in their home countries. For humanitarian reasons, Australia is receiving such persons each year. These refugees are unlucky because of their terrible sufferings back home. In the meanwhile, they are lucky because they have already stepped on a land full of democracy and freedom.
This photo was taken in August this year when I visited Yeronga TAFE Institute in Brisbane, where these students were learning English.

In Brisbane. Australia, Sidney Harbour

In the background are world famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

With a massive guy at Darling Harbour, Sidney

Darling Harbour is the hottest spot among many Sydney's tourist attractions. No tourists will fail to pay a visit to this harbour. This photo is of a big guy and me. If you travel in the harbour, you will surely meet this kind guy, whose duty is to arrange tourists to board cruisers.

Hi, Diana,
Thanks to your painstaking efforts, now we students and faculty members of GE can use your blog as a forum to exchange ideas and get a better understanding of each other as well. In the meanwhile, I strongly believe that your blog also offers us a golden opportunity to practice our writing skills. Language learning is really rewarding and fun. In my opinion, when your are learning a language , you are going more or less into a different culture. Therefore, we should not noly learn the language well, but also the culture that dominates the language. Fortunately, we students meet a lot of qualified and experienced teachers here at GE. Personally, I think I have made some progress, especially in communication skills in English learning since I came here in March this year. However, I do know that I still need to spare no sfforts to push myself to do better in the long process of the language learning. But the vivacious learning experience at GE with the teachers is really memorable.Whatever the final result of my English learning is, I will surely cherish all of these deep in my heart and appreciate the teachers' help forever. I sincerely hope that I can meet some of them someday in the future in real life and express my hearty thanks to them face to face. Diana, thanks again for your nice blog and hope it can be better and better. With warmest regards

Arnold/China

GE' Teachers Sugestions...

First of all, I want to say, Thanks Karen!!! because you send a nice sugestions.

I visited the sites and I could enjoy with amazing pictures and at the same time I could learn more about your place and your culture.

Hi Ana,

I thought I'd add a few links to your site, so that you and other students at GE can see some of the beautiful places that you can visit here in England.
First of all, there are some wonderful photos of the Peak District National Park
by local photographer, Ian Mateer

I live just twenty minutes from this park, and my family and I often go here for long walks. The Peak District is actually in the north of England, but I'm originally from the Midlands, and grew up living near one of the most beautiful medieval castles in Europe called Warwick Castle

Warwick is just a few miles from Stratford-upon-Avon, where Shakespeare was born

As you will be able to see from the pictures, there are a lot of thatched cottages. In fact, I lived in one as a child!

Good luck with your site!

Karen (one of your GE teachers)

Sobre mí

I'm Diana from Mendoza, Argentina. I'm studying English. I want to use this blog to share all about my place, "Mendoza" and my country "Argentina". It will be a pleasure to answer questions about it. I would like to receive comments and ideas about different topics or images that you can find here. I will enjoy if you tell me about you, your country and your culture. It's a good place to practice and develop English writing. Sometime we know vocabulary but... it´s difficult to express our ideas in English in correct way. Then, we need to practice :) Welcome to my place! Please, feel comfortable :) Free Web Site Counter
